On December 6, 2017, ESCO announced the Electronic Tender (SPA 170015507) for purchase of Microsoft licenses, which cost 86400 GEL (VAT including). The deadline for submitting the tender proposal ends on December 14, 2017, at 13:00.
From December 03, 2017, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the JSC “HESI I” to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”
On December 02, 2017 the Electricity Market Operator will cancel the registration of JSC “AE-SGI Energy I” as a Small Power Plant and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it will be no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
In October 2017, the quantity of Balancing Electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 254 273 249 kWh, which represents 26% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of Balancing Electricity have made up GEL 35 009 027.5.

In October, the Weighted Average Price of Balancing Electricity per kWh made up 13.7682700 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 9.4 Tetri/kWh

Chinese investors visited the Electricity Market Operator. During the advisory meeting, the staff of ESCO’s relevant sections discussed the following topics of interest for the guests: the structure of Electricity Market and the electricity trading model, as well as investment of funds in the construction of hpps in Georgia and guaranteed procurement of the electricity generated by the newly constructed power plants.

The employees of relevant departments of the Market Operator had delivered the presentations and proposals about current condition and future measures, associated with collection and processing of basic data on settlement, financial relations and other similar topics.
